Coaster Set Project Kit
This kit contains all the materials needed to create templates for your own individualized coaster set. It arrives ready to assemble in a few quick steps so you can get straight to the fun parts! Handmade coaster sets make perfect presents, especially for housewarming parties, showers, and even dinner parties.
The 19-piece coaster kit contains:
A complete step-by-step instruction manual that contains a material list and design options
Laser-cut pieces that slot together to form an arched drape mold without any glue or tape
All of the materials you need to make 4 unique coaster template designs
A guide to cut a slotted coaster holder
Four adhesive cork backers for your finished coasters
Note that this is a pre-order. Please allow up to 3 weeks for kits to be assembled and shipped.
The kit does not include clay or glazes. A rolling pin and x-acto (or other sharp cutting tool) will also be needed.
While the kit is intended to be used with clay that is fired in a kiln, this particular project could also be made out of oven-bake polymer clay. In order to ensure the coasters are properly water resistant, a varnish should be applied to the surface of the polymer clay.
